Lexington artist Jill Plaisted, a former president of the Lexington Art League and Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from the University of Kentucky, is having an exhibit that contains a selection of recently created
collagraph prints. The collagraph plates are made on sealed paper or cardboard upon which various materials are collaged and glued. The plates can also be incised, before being inked, wiped and run through
the printing press to produce a print. Jill Plaisted is a founder member of the Bluegrass Printmakers Cooperative which meets in the basement of the LexArts Building on Mill Street.
